ANOTHER GAME TO PLAY
If you didn’t fancy becoming the Health Minister in yesterdays blog, then here’s a better game to play.
E-mail Gordon Brown directly and rattle his cage by requesting:
a) his immediate personal intervention to prevent the imminent unemployment of junior doctors.
b) an immediate and substantial increase in the number of specialty training posts.
Just imagine. If half the consultants in every specialty played this game that is not a game, the matter would probably be solved with a nod and a wink in the twinkling of an eye.
It would also bring the consultants well and truly out of the closet in support of junior doctors.
It would support the action of Remedy UK.
And unite the medical profession.
And allow them to concentrate on what they have been trained to do.
Care for patients.
But please yourself.
You won’t get round to it.
