I’M OFF TO A MEETING!
The Witching Community is having a big international meeting so I’m not going to be around for a while. One of our witches has decided to retire and this is causing quite a stir.
We have no idea, absolutely no idea, who will take over her work. She is one of the most experienced witches I know, and keeps the world on an even keel. She can cast vintage and antiquarian spells that most of us have never even heard of.
I suppose this might turn into a training session for some of us, so we can fill the gap. So it might be a few weeks before I come back.
In the meantime, we witches have asked our Black Cats to keep an eye on things for us.
But don’t hold your breath……
You’ll be too busy catching rats, won’t you My Black Cat?
Or just lounging around.
I wonder how many junior doctors will be out of jobs by the time I return……
And I wonder how many wards will be struggling to look after their patients during August…….
