Funny, the second Christmas tree has become fat in the middle and thin on the top.
Funny, they don’t look much like Christmas Trees.
They look more like the 9 National Practitioner levels seen under My Black Cat in “The Secret NHS”
A competency driven NHS.
Professions replaced by competencies.
Agenda for Change.
Hey, the doctors are now appearing there too!
Up till now, the doctors have been set apart.
It looks as if they will soon be engulfed.
The fairies on the Christmas tree are the top tier i.e. level 9. They seem to be doctors. No one else seems to feature at level 9.
What will they be called? wonders The Witch Doctor.
Doctors also appear at levels 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Level 8 is the Consultant Practitioner level in “The Secret NHS.” Consultant Practitioners may be Consultant Nurses, Consultant Scientists, Consultant Physiotherapists and any Consultant Others featuring in Agenda for Change. Presumably then, Consultant Doctor will also feature in Level 8 once they are completely engulfed, digested and spat out.
Or are they really the Sub-consultant “fully trained” doctors given a new consultant name to give them parity with the other consultant groups in Agenda for Change?
And to elevate the other professions?
Or to downgrade the doctors?
Are the new “consultants” in the other professions simply being used to downgrade the medical profession?
While they are blinded by their new consultant status?
After this has been done will they no longer be needed much at this level? Just a few. Just notional?
Surely not!
This is confusing.
If those of the medical profession (ie those that are not oblivious) are confused, what about the patients?
