THE NEED FOR A PARTNERSHIP
A photograph of Susie Gatrell and Harvey Bennett appeared in the document “NHS Partners and the Association of Healthcare Human Resource Management - Winning Entries.” Presumably they collected the award on behalf of Poole Hospital NHS Trust for “Improving Doctors’ Working Lives.”
Susie Gatrell is Head of Medical Staffing, Poole Hospital NHS Trust.
Harvey Bennett is a partner in the company “HR & Training Solutions Ltd,” an external consultancy involved in helping Poole Hospital win their award. (see yesterdays post).
However, there were other consultancies involved in this exercise.

The name associated with this consultancy is John Gatrell. He has published articles and presented papers on leadership and related topics in the NHS. He is the author of several books, eg “Medical Student to Medical Director” (NHSTD, 1995), “Medical Appraisal, Selection and Revalidation” (Royal Society of Medicine Press, 2000) and “The Specialist Registrar Handbook” (2nd Edition, Radcliffe 2001).
360 is Us Ltd.
Here is what they do……..

Ah…
Maybe it was Harvey Bennett from “360 is Us Ltd” rather than Harvey Bennett from “HR & Training Solutions Ltd,” that helped Poole Hospital win its award.
Who knows.
No matter, it is the same Harvey Bennett.
There also seems to be internal and external partners with the same surname i.e. Susie Gatrell and John Gatrell.
