A TRIP TO THE SKILLS ESCALATOR
Yes, we need the World Wide Web to be working again.
Because we need to revisit “The Skills Escalator”
Because The Skills Escalator is really what MTAS/MMC is about.
It is what the whole of medicine will be about.
It is what the whole of health care will be about.
It is what the whole of education will be about.
It is what the whole of the economy will be about.
It is a global concept.
This is why there is no easy scapegoat for MTAS/MMC. It was closely linked to to something bigger.
Much, much bigger.
A huge Juggernaut.
Did Liam Donaldson, as CMO, the government’s civil servant, feel that he would have to waken up the sleeping colleges and the dozing medical profession. Wake them up with a jolt so they would see and feel and then confront The Juggernaut?
Is this why James Johnson, ex Chairman of the BMA, supported Liam Donaldson?
And lost his job over supporting him?
Did both men see the potential decimation of the medical profession by The Juggernaut?
While all the doctors were in a deep deep sleep.
Not able to be roused.
And oblivious to The Juggernaut.
