The Witch Doctor first encountered The Ferret Fancier in February 2007. Before this blog was born.
The Witch Doctor encountered him in a blog discussion forum at the time that MTAS was going from forte to fortissimo.
THE FERRET
The Witch Doctor has never met The Ferret nor his Fancier.
The Witch Doctor does not know The Ferret nor his Fancier.
Any more that the Witch Doctor knows William Shakespeare or Enid Blyton.
But reading tells more, sometimes, than meeting.
It was clear then, The Ferret Fancier was a junior doctor with a mind that could sift through all the rubble and find the gold-dust.
He grasped the full dimensions of MTAS/MMC at a very early stage. Long before many others.
He could see it was much more than the tensions caused by an apparently crazy application system and shortage of jobs.
Much more.
Yes. The Witch Doctor was very impressed with The Ferret Fancier’s brain.
And his commitment.
And his courage to speak out when many were silent.
Away back then.
So impressed that for a time The Witch Doctor wondered if he could be one of us.
