A spell for Gordon Brown

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THE SANTA HATS?

Mr Brown, My Black Cat has cast a spell although I think you will be unaware of it.

She will not tell The Witch Doctor what spell she has used.

She is only giving The Witch Doctor little snippets of information.

She says since Christmas Day you have been finding minature Santa Claus hats scattered throughout all your pockets.

THE SPELL

They appear as you pull out a handerchief or scramble for loose change.

You have no absolutely no idea how they got there, have you?

It’s perplexing you a bit.

By now, you should now have found 24 of these little hats.

My Black Cat says you should check you have found them all.

If any are missing you may not benefit from this spell.

You also received a Christmas present of a green box.

THE PRESENT

An empty green box.

That is from My Black Cat too.

It’s just the size to put the little red santa hats in.

Keep the box safely, because one of these little hats has magic properties, according to My Black Cat.

But she hasn’t yet told me what the spell will do.

She will in her own good time, I expect.

Don’t worry, she’s fairly competent although certainly not an expert.

It would be better, though, if an experienced witch was doing this spell.

Witches’ cats rely on protocols far too much.

But I’m keeping an eye on her.

So everything will probably be OK.

Why is the box empty Witch doc? Where is the piece of coal? The commodity …

And the 24 little hats! Are they not supposed to be 27? What are they for black cat? So small, they won’t even fit your little head! .. the suspense, the suspense ….

Nope. Just 24, although 49 would be more of a witching number. Perhaps 49 little hats would be too many for Mr Brown’s pockets. It would not look good at the World Economic Forum in Davos if a little Santa hat was peeping out his top pocket instead of a handerchief!

Anyway, My Black Cat has not told me what she has done yet. We will both need to be very patient!
