ONE YEAR ON
MMC/MTAS has generated lots of writing, lots of reading, lots of talking – talking, reading and writing at the highest level in the land even.
Read them and jolt your memory.
So, all of this was a waste of time and effort if:
1. These young doctors (all of them) are not given training posts in order that (a) they can become the best they can be and (b) patients are given a consultant delivered service when they need it.
2. The role of the doctor is not made explicit to everyone.
Just two things.
That’s all.
Time for the talking shop to put up its shutters and lock the door.
What is happening at a practical, on the ground, at the coal-face, down to earth level?
