45,000 PATIENTS SIGN DOWNING STREET PETITION
This is nearly TEN TIMES more than the response to the official London consultation.
“Patient choice” is shooting you in the foot, Mr Johnston.
You could, of course get angry with patients for indicating their choice just as you have attacked Primary Care Trusts when they tried to disobey.
ALAN JOHNSON TURNS ON PRIMARY CARE TRUSTS FOR OPPOSING POLYCLINICS
“Alan Johnson said North Lancashire PCT was displaying a ‘disgraceful’ attitude after the trust questioned the imposition of a GP-led health centre and two new GP practices in their area.
The health secretary also admitted that ‘numerous PCTs’ were opposed to the Government’s plans, and accused them of trying to ‘duck the issue’.
The comments are the most blatant evidence yet of the Government’s determination to crush opposition to it’s polyclinic rollout.”
Of course, it could be that patients are too stupid for words……
It could be that Primary Care Trusts are too stupid for words…..
It could be that such stupidity has no place in a democracy……
Eh, Mr Johnson?
