Nudge, nudge.
Spin, spin.
“MANY” doctors approve of NHS Changes.

“SOME” doctors oppose NHS Changes.
Spin, spin.
Nudge, nudge.
Nobody notices the words, do they?
Nobody bothers.
It just subliminally infiltrates the brains of The Humankind that the majority of doctors support the NHS reforms.
Spin, spin.
Lies, lies.

Yup, I saw that report as well. They won’t be able to hide the results of the votes though, whatever they might say now.

For the record, I have not yet met a single doctor who is enthusiastic about the white paper.
I recently had a patient who was a practice manager who had been to several meetings to try and plan for the change and he too had not found any enthusiasm. None whatsoever. Probably his GPs have ‘signed up’. They have to. It doesn’t mean they are in favour.
To be absolutely fair, there are enthusiasts. But I haven’t met a single one and I meet a lot of doctors.
Fortunately the public are not taken in by the spin quite as much as the politicians might think. But whether the electorate have the power to save the NHS I am not at all sure. Which is a strange thing to say because you might think that politicians should be doing what the electorate want. And if it is not what the electorate want then why are they doing this? Your Black Cat knows the answer and I suspect Joe Public does too.
Once the NHS is gone it will be gone forever. There can be no bringing it back.
(I know you know all this, WD. I write only to alert any passing member of the public to what is going on.)
