The Sunday Times. Not a word.

There were no Sunday papers left in the village shop by the time The Oldest Sage Witch’s Scottish Granny got there.

She scrounged a copy from someone else though.

The message she sends is that there was no mention of The Highland Deanery or a suspended junior doctor.

There was a large picture of Jeremy Paxman dressed in a kilt attacking a haggis with a knife. The haggis was supposed to be the head of Robert Burns. The Oldest Sage Witch’s Scottish Granny was not amused so I hope she does not cast a horrible ancient spell against said gentleman in kilt.

Doubtless a news item relating to Scotland’s Bard is much more newsworthy than the activities of any deanery.
