Was NHS Highland/Professor Gillian Needham instructed or not?

According to The Inverness Courier it may be that the decision to suspend Dr Scot Junior was not really made locally.

It seems that NHS Highland / Professor Gillian Needham were doing what they were told to do.

Did London tell them what to do?

Is that so?

Please, will A True Scots Leader emerge in The Highlands and get this young doctor back to work.

After all, he may turn out to be one of tomorrows True Leaders within the medical profession.

If so, what a waste “an indefinite suspension” will be.

“His views were seen by members of the London Deanery — which oversees postgraduate training for over 8500 doctors and dentists nationwide — who contacted their Highland counterparts and instructed NHS Highland to suspend the doctor.”

“But unfortunately for him someone was looking over his shoulder. Professor Elisabeth Paice, another senior figure in the medical establishment, spotted the posting, reported it, and NHS Highland was prevailed upon to suspend the doctor.”
