Follow the yellow brick road…….

And crash into a monumental wall….

ACT 1

Patient Pathway – Choose and Book

ACT 2

Patient Pathway – The Air that we Breath

ACT 3

Patient Pathway – Anus

Just included for a bit of relief. Surely it will be a wonderful pathway to follow. Yes. Such a thing exists. Find it if you can…….

ACT 4

Patient Pathway – Incorporating, A Maze, Clipboards in Abundance, A Brick Wall and finally, A Toll Booth

N.B. Act 4 reflects the Oldest Sage Witch’s Highland Granny’s encounter with her particular patient pathway. Unfortunately when she’s hopping mad she speaks and writes in The Gàidhlig. She even uses her own special dialect peculiar to highland witches so that even the native Gàidhlig speakers of The Humankind don’t understand a word of it. No doubt, in the fullness of time, she’ll cool off for long enough to relate her tale in a language some black cat somewhere can understand.

ACT 5

A Broken Pathway

Regarding Act 5, The Witch Doctor and all the black cats had a conversation yesterday. Here is what WD said:

‘The Big Society bothers me a bit because I’m not sure it is achievable by government or community leaders effectively appointed by government. I suspect many local leaders of society, being so hell-bent on “doing good” and massaging their egos might not notice those needing support within their own family, friends or neighbours in their street, neither will they recognise nor support those carers who are quietly holding things together. A Big Society needs a lot of nurturing. So do the multitude of carers within it. Perhaps they thought they were nurturing the medical profession by giving them a big pay rise and in so doing steeling away their professionalism. They just don’t get it!’
