The Demi – Pied Piper’s Little Helper

It seems My Black Cat is not giving anything away regarding the identity of The Demi-Pied Piper’s Little Helper.

Julie had a guess that it might be John Reid but apparently it was wrong.

However, My Black Cat in response gave a fifth clue.

Clue number 5

The Demi Pied Piper’s Little Helper has something in common with John Reid.

Are they both members of The Humankind?
Are they both male?
Are they both bald?
Are they both Barons?
Are they both Scottish?
Are they both addicted to footbball?
Are they both ex-members of the Communist Party?
Are they both non-believers in Santa Claus?
Are the both ex-politicians?

Who knows……

That’s not much of a clue, My Black Cat!

  1. Alas! When will MBC relent and tell us who the Demi – Pied Piper is? The suspense is unbearable..;)

    • MBC says she will give you another two clues that will make it much easier.

      1. Apparently, The Demi Pied Piper’s little helper has common ground with John Reid, The Oldest Sage Witch’s Highland Granny, and indeed yourself, Julie.

      2. She also says he (it’s a he) is maybe not one of your favourite people! (although goodness knows how she knows that!)

  2. Is it Professor David Kerr perchance?

    • Julie,

MBC had a premonition you might come in with correct answer just as WD was putting up the next post! Presumably some kind of spell has escaped from The Spell Pantry and wandered in your direction!

Well done, but MBC says the riddle is not yet complete. How did he help?

  3. It was the ‘you don’t like him’ bit that helped! Reminds me of a conversation I had one time with a fellow networker about various politicians and he said, ‘Who’s that dreadful man..’ and I named him and then he said, ‘and who’s that useless lump of lard,’ and I named them as well. Sometimes I think there is a kind of telepathy in these things. However, I don’t know how he helped, cos I couldn’t get past the Times paywall and they’re so rubbish now that I didn’t want to give them £1. Canny Scot and all that..
