Sir Derek Wanless and The Skills Escalator

CLICK ON THE LINK WILL YOU, FOR GOODNESS SAKE!

What is wrong with these slothful doctors, My Black Cat?

Why won’t they click on a link when they’re told?

Are they not mouse competent?

Stupid, pathetic, apathetic humans.

YELLOW BOTTLE SPELLS

Yellow bottle spells are used when humans are being really, really stupid and need to be taught a lesson.

Here is the link. The same link as yesterday. This tells you why there is a contrived excess of doctors at a time when the country needs more doctors.

CLICK IT, WILL YOU!

“WHO ARE THE DOCTORS OF TOMORROW AND WHAT WILL THEY DO”

All of this is to do with Sir Derek Wanless:

“The Government –commissioned report into health sector workforce led by Wanless contends that the only way we can plug potential gaps in the system in future will be to work from the bottom up, starting with the patient, then working through Healthcare Assistants through nursing therapists to medical professionals.”

Wanless is The Skills Escalator Man!

Who exactly is Sir Derek Wanless, My Black Cat?

Is he a doctor? A medical Doctor?

Does he cure people?

No?

He counts people?

Ah, he’s good with The Abacus and The Building Bricks. Hopeless with The Stethoscope.

He’ll know how good it is for a pyramid to have a broad base, a stable base.

He puts the experts at the top.

Why does he put the patients at the bottom of the pile?

Far out of reach of the experts?

Why has he done that?

He is a mathematician, a statistician.

His brain is configured differently, My Black Cat.

  1. Thank you for the education Witch Doctor. This is a frightening report, a conspiracy! And you are right about how women will be ‘used.’ Some people need to be put in straight jackets IMO

The BMA is not exactly ‘La resistance’ either so the damage is irreversible ! Very sad state of affairs indeed 🙂

  2. Cutting through the artifacts of the medical institutions and colleges, you are left with doctors. Mainly senior doctors who are either unable to grasp the whole picture, are complacent, or are unable to say “NO” loudly enough.

The reasons for this apparent weakness of these institutions is probably very complex.

I think one of the problems has been lack of knowledge or concern regarding all aspects of the NHS plan. For example when Agenda for Change appeared, most of the medical profession knew it was happening, but the implications for patient care and for the medical profession did not really register.

Most doctors will not accept the possiblity of a conspiracy, they put everything down to an incompetent government. This government’s ability to downsize the medical profession has been anything but incompetent.

  3. Absolutely. They got you while you were busy with your books and your potions and your patients!

    No incompetance at all.

  4. Wanless ‘good with The Abacus’ – I hardly think so. He devalued NatWest by £billiions in the 90’s, through poor strategic decisions, thus allowing the relative minnow, The Royal Bank of Scotland, to take them over. Wanless was ignominiously ousted. He then took a Directorship at Northern Rock where he headed up their ‘Risk’ committee. He was lambasted as being highly culpable for the current fiasco by the all party Treasury Select Committee. Taxpayers are £30billion out of pocket, and still counting. He has now been ousted by the Rock’s new Chairman Bryan Sanderson. In between oustings he signed off the NHS Funding Report, no doubt written under a tight remit from his friend, Gordon Brown. Brown refers to Wanless as ‘my favourite intellectiaul Banker’. ‘Good with an Abacus’ – well, you and I may need an Abacus to count the £billions that Wanless has costed the taxpayer !

  5. Jack,

I suspect doctors know very little of Wanless in his other roles and your comments will be of interest to them. Thanks for your input.

Sorry for the delay in posting your comment. For some reason it was tangled up in the spam filter. Not sure why. It could be because the “£” sign appeared. Askimet may have thought you were trying to sell The Witch Doctor something!

  6. […] by the predominance of women in medicine. We reckoned The Leitch Report, Agenda for Change, The Skills Escalator were all attempts to address the imbalance. We thought MMC, as conceived by senior members of the […]
